Oval Infotech Editorial Team
Aug 2023 · 5 min read · Quality
Quality control is the foundation of every successful outsourced editing relationship. The best outsourcing partners do not just edit images — they systematically review every delivery against your style guide to catch errors before they reach your clients. Understanding how professional photo editing quality control works helps you choose the right partner and set the right expectations.
Oval Infotech 3-Stage Quality Control Process
Stage 1 — Editor Review
The assigned editor completes every image and conducts an initial self-review against the client's style guide and specific job instructions.
Stage 2 — Senior Check
A senior editor reviews a sample of each batch for colour consistency, exposure accuracy, and technical compliance before delivery.
Stage 3 — Final Output Check
Final exports are checked for correct file format, dimensions, colour profile, and file naming before delivery via the client's preferred transfer method.
What Happens When Revisions Are Needed
Every Oval Infotech client receives unlimited revisions on their first batch. This is how we establish your exact style preferences — by delivering a sample, receiving your specific feedback, and applying that feedback precisely to all subsequent work. Once your style is established, revision requests become rare because our editors know exactly what you expect.
- Revision requests responded to within 2 hours during business hours
- Revised images returned within 4 hours of feedback receipt
- All revision feedback stored permanently in your client profile
- No charges for revisions — included as standard
